This is actually premiering at the 2025 Locarno Film Festival underway right now in Switzerland, and it will hit theaters later in September for anyone interested. A grief-stricken loner is caught in a brutal Minnesotan blizzard, where she discovers a young woman imprisoned by a desperate armed couple, forcing this unlikely hero into a dangerous fight for her and the victim’s survival. Reminds me of Fargo, of course. Starring Emma Thompson, Judy Greer, Marc Menchaca, & Gaia Wise, with Cuan Hosty-Blaney, Dalton Leeb, Paul Hamilton, Lloyd Hutchinson, and Brian F. O’Byrne.
