How to Get Yhwach Blood

There are four main ways of obtaining Yhwach Blood. The first is Culling Games, the second is Ranked matches, the third is Soul Wars, and the fourth is trading. With Yhwach Blood being a rare item, the drop chances of it are low, so you’re more than likely going to have to farm these methods multiple times.

If you’re lucky enough to find a player who has a spare Yhwach Blood going, then make sure you have something decent to trade with. However, most players who obtain this item are going to use it, unless they’re not bothered about unlocking Ancient Vasto, so even this method may be tricky.

Culling Games

The Culling Games is a PvP mode that places players into opposing factions. It’s a team-based battle, and your team wins if you collect the most points. Keep in mind that up to 10 players can be in each faction. If your team manages to win, there’s a chance the Yhwach Blood will drop.

Ranked Matches

These matches pit you against other players, whether you choose to do 1v1, 2v2, or so forth. By winning Ranked matches, you have a chance of obtaining Yhwach Blood.

Soul Wars

Soul Wars is another PvP mode! However, this one is a little different in the sense that you have multiple characters to choose from with more or less set builds. You cannot use your own character in this mode! If your team wins, you have a chance of getting the Yhwach Blood item.

Why Do You Need Yhwach Blood?

The Yhwach Blood item is a requirement when unlocking Ancient Vasto. Once you speak to the final NPC, called Future, they ask for Yhwach Blood, a Hogyoku Ball, and Partial Essence. After collecting all of these items, you must visit the Future NPC again to give them to him. You then obtain Ancient Vasto!
