Famiglia is the first main chapter of Mafia: The Old Country. It begins shortly after the prologue, Tremori. In this guide, we will walk you through the Famiglia chapter, including gathering any collectibles available.
Chapter 1: Famiglia Walkthrough – Mafia: The Old Country
Escape the Barn
After running away from the Sulfur Mine, Merlo and his men will track down Enzo to a barn. The men will enter the barn looking for Enzo. Once you get control of Enzo, go down the ladder on the left side and use the spotting ability by pressing Up on the D-pad to spot the guard near and around you. There will be one guard facing the wall. Go to the back of the guard and press the respective button to initiate the stealth kill. Repeatedly press the prompted button on the screen to successfully perform the stealth takedown. Now, loot the body to get a whetstone and use it to sharpen the knife.
Interact with the door to use the knife to unlock it. Go out and climb up on the boxes to go over the wall. Enter the building on the right and squeeze through the gap. Continue ahead and take cover until the two guards separate. After that, go behind the guards one by one and perform the stealth takedowns. Take cover after taking out the two guards and wait until the next pair of guards separate. Vault over and take down the guard ahead. Continue ahead and go down the stairs to take out the next guard. Go ahead and interact with the barn door to start a cutscene.
Ride with Luca and Rest for the Night
After the cutscene, go out of the barn and get on the horse. Follow Luca to Don Torrisi’s place. Leave the horse at the stable and follow Luca. He will lead you to your room. Interact with the door to start a cutscene.
Work around Don Torrisi’s House
After the cutscene, change the clothes by interacting with the wardrobe in the room. Wear any available outfit. Once done, pick up the bandages from the table and use them to heal yourself. Now, leave the room and speak with Cesare. Follow him to the storeroom and pick up the crate from the table. Walk out with the crate and place it on the back of the cart. Repeat this process two more times to place all three crates. After loading all three wine crates, speak with Cesare.
Cesare will tell you to help out Valentina. Go straight to find Valentina and speak with her. Follow Valentina and pick up the freshly butchered pig from the table. Now, follow Valentina again to get to the kitchen. Once there, place the pig on the table. Go out with Cesare and follow him down to the stables. Enter the stables and interact with the shovel to begin cleaning the stables. It will start a cutscene in which you will see Isabella for the first time.
After the cutscene, leave the stables and go back to Cesare. Speak to him and then go back to your room. You will meet with Father Ciccone outside your room door. Go inside your room and pick up the San Celeste Statue from the table. It will give you the Sant’Agata Medallion, which you can equip in the Charms Screen on the main menu. Once done, interact with the bath tub in the room to get cleaned up and a cutscene will start, which will conclude the chapter.
