Are there multiple Doors Outdoors Endings? We go over how to reach the end of the level in this Doors guide! As well as getting to the end of the Outdoors, why not try to obtain all of the Outdoors Badges?
Doors Outdoors Endings
When you reach the ending of the Outdoors level in Doors, you unlock the ‘Down the Water Spout’ badge!
Main Ending
Pressing the button to open the gate leads you down a pathway covered by arches. Keep heading forward, passing the plants and the lanterns above. Suddenly, the Groundskeeper entity appears to the side of you, attempting to climb up on the hedge.
Before it can jump over, the Bramble entity appears, dragging the Groundskeeper away. It’s similar to the ending of Floor 2, in a sense. At this point in the game, you haven’t met Bramble yet, as it is the final boss within the maze.
Whether the Groundskeeper is trying to hurt you or save you when it appears to the right is unknown at this current time. Knowing how the Groundskeeper behaves during the Outdoors level, I presume it’s trying to save you from Bramble.
Throughout the Outdoors, the Groundskeeper tries to protect you in various ways, even if it can become hostile. The thing is, it only becomes hostile when you don’t heed its warnings! After the Groundskeeper is dragged into the bushes, you can continue onwards down the path.
As you look at the giant glowing flower in the sky, the Bramble suddenly appears again, teleporting through a lantern. The chase begins! Try your best to make your way through the maze, avoiding Bramble as much as possible.
Eventually, when you find the exit, Bramble tries to attack you, but the Groundskeeper jumps out, kicks the monster, and they take a tumble off a bridge that breaks. You end up falling into the water, and as the stream takes you away, you can see the Groundskeeper and Bramble brawling before you fall down what looks to be a sewer.
Defeating Bramble
The final thing you must do in the Outdoors level is defeat Bramble. An important thing to remember is that when its light is on, it’s dangerous. If its light is off, you can move around without worrying. Bramble can teleport through lanterns, so try to avoid them as much as possible as you navigate the maze.
