“I just want to see: how many other fans there are out there?!” Media Mike has unveiled the first teaser for a new fan documentary titled Jaws Goes to the Bahamas, made by Mike Gencarelli. This is currently in the works, with an expected release in 2027, but they’re starting hype early to promote their crowdfunding Indiegogo campaign to get the film made and completed. Jaws Goes to the Bahamas is about the infamous fourth Jaws movie called Jaws: The Revenge (released in 1987, directed by Joseph Sargent). They made four Jaws movies in total before the “franchise” came to an end. The film features interviews with Lance Guest (Michael Brody), Pete Romano (Underwater Camera Operator), Anthony C. Ferrante (Sharknado) & more! The documentary will explore the tropical shoot, behind-the-scenes experiences, and the surprising fanbase that has developed around the film over the years. “It’s bold, bizarre, and strangely beloved… Fans deserve it and what better time than its 40th anniversary.” Hence out in in 2027.
