Helping Hand is a Romance Level 3 quest for Nai’o in Palia. After unlocking the romance option with Nai’o, he will mention that his family is a bit overwhelmed right now. He will ask for your help to ease their burdens. In this guide, we will walk you through the Helping Hand quest in Palia.
How to Complete the Helping Hand Quest in Palia
Starting the quest
Starting the Helping Hand quest will require the player to reach Romance Level 3 with Nai’o and complete the A Family Dinner quest. Players must reach Friendship Level 3 or higher and gift a box of chocolate or a heartdrop lily to unlock the romance option with Nai’o. Once done, complete the initial romance quest, and Nai’o will visit you on the Housing Plot. Speak with Nai’o to see what’s going on, and the Helping Hand quest will start.
Talk to Delaila and help her feed the troughs
After speaking with Nai’o, go to his house and meet with her mother, Delaila. Speak to her and she will mention that she needs help with feeding troughs. Go to the barn area beside the house and pick up the feed. The feed is like the haystacks. Pick all of the feed and then interact with the feeding bowls near the animals to feed them.
See if Auni needs help
After feeding the animals, go and see Auni. Speak to him to see if he needs help with anything. He will mention that he needs a new bait for the bug traps. You need to bring 5x Sweet Leaf to Auni. The Sweet Leaf is an Uncommon spice that grows in the wild in the northern areas of Bahari Bay. Go to Bahari Bay and search around the areas, like Statue Garden, Thorny Thicket, the Outskirts, Proudhorn Pass, and Flooded Steps. After gathering 5x Sweet Leaf, go back to Auni. Speak to him to give him the Sweet Leaf for the bait.
NOTE: If you already have the Sweet Leaf in your inventory, you can give it to Auni straight away.
See if Badruu needs help
After helping Auni, go and see Badruu. Speak to Badruu, and he will mention that he is trying to find his Watering Can. After speaking to Badruu, go to the highlighted zone on the map. Search near the small pond to find some footprints. Examine the footprints and follow them to the pond to find Badruu’s Watering Can. Now, go back to Badruu and speak to him to give him his Watering Can.
Head home after a long day of chores
After helping everybody in the family, go back to your housing plot area. Speak to Nai’o and go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.
