“Put the people you love in the center and the music will come.” Prime Video has revealed the first official trailer for a streaming series called The Runarounds, about a high school band formed by some friends. Taking us all right back to the ol’ high school band days! The Runarounds is created by the same creator of the other music series “Daisy Jones & The Six” from 2023. In this series, a high school band graduates and aims for fame & success in the music industry. The Runarounds (from the creator of Outer Banks) follows a group of recent high school graduates who form a band in the hopes of escaping the mundane futures that are laid out before them. As the band pursues their big break and near impossible dream over the course of a summer, they fall in love and trouble along the way. The full cast includes William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock, Jesse Golliher, Lilah Pate, Maximo Salas, Kelley Pereira, Marley Aliah, Mark Wystrach, Brooklyn Decker, Hayes MacArthur, and Shea Pritchard.
