Netflix has revealed the amusing full official trailer for a whodunit comedy called The Thursday Murder Club, ready to watch at the end of on streaming in August later this month. From Home Alone / Harry Potter director Chris Columbus, the film is the latest to be produced through the Netflix & Amblin Entertainment partnership. Adapted directly from Richard Osman’s bestselling novel of the same name – the first in his TMC series. Four irrepressible retirees spend their time solving cold case murders for fun, but their causal sleuthing takes a thrilling turn when they find themselves with a real whodunit on their hands. “When a local developer is found dead with a mysterious photograph left next to the body, the Thursday Murder Club suddenly find themselves in the middle of their first live case.” The “club” features Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie.
