“Giddy up!” Netflix has revealed an official trailer for another cheesy romantic comedy called The Wrong Paris, ready for streaming in September. More of these Hallmark Channel super schmaltzy movies being made & released by Netflix – it’s also from the same director as Lindsay Lohan’s Falling for Christmas and Irish Wish. A young woman joins a dating show thinking it’ll be in Paris, France, but it’s actually in Paris, Texas (which is a real city). Cosgrove plays an aspiring artist who joins a dating show hoping for a free trip to France, but ends up just a few miles from her hometown. What starts out as a plan to get eliminated from the game show takes an unexpected turn when sparks fly with the Texas bachelor they’re all after, played by Pierson Fodé. Aside from Cosgrove & Fodé, the cast also includes Madison Pettis, Madeleine Arthur, Frances Fisher, Yvonne Orji, plus Torrance Coombs and Christin Park.
