Armor Sets are essential for survival in Grounded 2, as they offer protective stats and unique set bonuses upon equipping. The world in Grounded 2 is not forgiving, and you will get to face all sorts of bugs and other challenges throughout the story. For high protection stats and resistance against elemental status effects, wearing a full Armor Set will increase the overall survival chances. In this guide, we will list all the Armor Sets that you can acquire in Grounded 2.
Armor Set Overview in Grounded 2
There are numerous Armor pieces that players can equip in Grounded 2. An Armor Set consists of three Armor pieces, including head, body, and legs. Equipping the three armor pieces of the same set completes an Armor set, which gives a unique Armor set bonus to a player. The Armor set bonus gives a unique passive ability to a player that can further the playstyle. In addition to the set bonus, there are also Armor modifiers. The armor modifiers are separate from the set bonus. If a player equips different armor pieces from different sets, the modifiers will stack only if the modifiers have the same effects.
How to Acquire an Armor Set in Grounded 2
Similar to the weapons in Grounded 2, acquiring the Armor sets will require players to craft them at the workbench. Looting various resources throughout the world and analyzing them will help you learn new recipes. As you unlock the recipes for the armor pieces, craft and equip the three armor pieces from the same set to equip an Armor set and activate the Armor set bonus. Moreover, the players can also upgrade the armor set by upgrading the armor pieces at the Smithing Station. Upgrading the Armor set will further increase the overall protective stats and resistance. However, it is essential to try various armor sets, as you never know which set bonus and modifiers might help you in a catastrophic scenario.
