Newly released Soulslike RPG Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is dropping free PS5, PC DLC for existing players to compensate for its messy launch. Not only did the game suffer from performance issues, particularly on the PS5 Pro, its rollout of pre-order rewards was also botched. Developer Leenzee says that it wants to “make amends.”
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers free PS5 DLC announced for both standard and deluxe editions
“As a token of appreciation for your early support and to make amends for our oversight, we will provide additional compensation to all Deluxe Edition owners,” Leenzee wrote on Steam. The compensation includes:
Steam Deluxe Edition : in addition to the single costume as compensation, there will be 3 extra sets of Deluxe costumes + 4 weapons.
Standard and Deluxe Editions holders will additionally obtain 3 headgear items across all platforms.
As for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers’ performance issues, Leenzee is continuing to optimize the game, with the following in the works:
Fix crashes across different devices
Improve frame rates and reduce lag on certain graphics cards
Optimize default settings for some graphics cards
Correct the speed of getting up after being knocked down
Reduce damage and the number of some traps
Lower impact resistance of certain low-level monsters
Reduce exploration pressure in some areas
Fix issues caused by missing items leading to quest interruptions
Improve AI logic for monsters and bosses
Enhance texture quality in low-resolution areas
Improve asset detail and precision in some regions
