Catfish is one of the Legendary fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley that players can catch by fishing in The Valley, and add to their fish collection. In this guide, we will tell you where to find and catch Catfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Where to Find Catfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Catfish is a legendary fish that players can only find in the Peaceful Meadow biome of the Valley. The Peaceful Meadow is on the south side of the Plaza in the Valley. It is one of the two initial biomes of the Valley. It is connected with the Plaza, Dazzle Beach, Glade of Trust, and Forest of Valor biomes. Once the player has access to the Peaceful Meadow, they need to look for Gold Ripples (bubbles) at the fishing spots. The ripples spawn in all three ponds in the Peaceful Meadow biome.
How to Catch Catfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After locating the Gold Ripples in the Peaceful Meadow biome, equip the Royal Fishing Rod tool and cast the rod line inside the gold bubbles. Now, complete the fishing mini-game to catch the Catfish.
TIP: If you don’t find any Gold Ripples, start fishing in the White/Blue Ripples in the ponds to spawn a gold one after some time.
Moreover, you can use the Miracle Fishing Bait enchantment. It will turn the white ripples into gold ripples when casting the line of the fishing rod. Just use the enchantment before fishing. You can craft this enchantment at the crafting station using Vitalys Crystals, Red Algae, and Dreamlight.
Use of Catfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Catfish is mainly required as an objective during the What’s Bad for the Business quest for Scrooge McDuck. Other than that, players can consume Catfish to restore 1,200 Energy. Moreover, they can sell it to Goofy for 550 Star Coins. Players can also use Catfish as an ingredient as a fish for various recipes. Lastly, they can give it to villagers as a gift for 150 Friendship Points.
