Platinum Wedding Bells is one of the new Discovery Quests in Palia. It was added with the recent Solstice Bloom update. It looks like Hodari has a big task on his hands for his sister’s big day. You must help Hodari build a perfect gift for his sister. In this guide, we will walk you through the Platinum Wedding Bells quest in Palia.
How to Complete the Platinum Wedding Bells Quest in Palia
Starting the Quest
To start the Platinum Wedding Bells quest, you must first surpass Friendship Level 2 with Hodari and then speak to Hodari. If you have a sufficient friendship level with Hodari, he will talk to you about the gift he wants to give to his sister on her wedding. While speaking with Hodari, select the option to bring platinum to Hodari, which will trigger the Platinum Wedding Bells quest.
Bring a Platinum Bar to Hodari
Platinum Bar is a legendary refined material in Palia, and you can get it by smelting the Platinum Ores in a Smelter. However, you would also have to get the Platinum Bar recipe to craft it. It unlocks at Level 10 of the Mining Guild. Reach Level 10 of Mining Guild and buy the Platinum Bar recipe for 5,000 Gold.
Crafting a Platinum Bar requires 5x Platinum Ore. The Platinum Ores are obtained by mining the Platinum Nodes found in the Elderwood map zone. After getting the Platinum Ores, players need to interact with the Smelter and place the Platinum Ores inside the Smelter. Once done, select the Platinum Bar recipe to start the crafting process. It will take 18 minutes to make 1 Platinum Bar in a Basic Smelter.
Once you have a Platinum Bar, go back to Hodari and give it to him. While speaking to Hodari, you will get to make a choice. You can either tell Hodari to make something for his sister or for his sister’s fiancé.
Bring 10 Ancient Woods to Hodari
After speaking with Hodari, the quest will update and will require you to gather 10 Ancient Woods. To get Ancient Wood, you should have at least a Fine Axe to cut down the Ancient Trees in Elderwood. The Ancient Trees are found all over in Elderwood, so it should not be hard to gather 10 Ancient Woods.
After gathering the Ancient Woods, go back to Hodari. Give him the woods and go through the dialogues. He will mention that he will see you after the wedding and let you know how things went.
Wait for Hodari’s visit
Now, wait until you see Hodari coming over to the Housing Plot area. Speak to Hodari and go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.

Completing the Platinum Wedding Bells quest in Palia will give the following rewards.
Foraging Mystery Bag (Only if you select the Sister option)
Hunting Mystery Bag (Only if you select the Fiancé option)
