How to Complete the Shadow Tag Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
Starting the Shadow Tag quest will require players to reach Friendship Level 2 with Peter Pan. Moreover, it requires that the players have unlocked the following characters.
Minnie Mouse
Upon fulfilling all of these requirements, the Shadow Tag quest becomes available. Speak with Peter Pan to initiate the quest.
Talk to Minnie Mouse and check her house for Peter’s Shadow
It seems Peter Pan has lost his Shadow somewhere in the Valley. He will mention that he saw the shadow close to Minnie’s House. To begin your search, you need to first speak with Minnie Mouse. Open the map to find Minnie and then go speak with her. After speaking with Minnie, go to her house to look for Peter Pan’s Shadow. Interact with the lamp in the room to find the Shadow. However, it will not stick in a place and go away again. Speak to Peter Pan to come up with a solution to freeze the shadow.
Gather the ingredients to craft the Shadow Spotlight
Peter will remind you that you used to use big spotlights to freeze the shadow and catch it. Here are all the ingredients that you need to gather to craft a Shadow Spotlight.
15x Glass: Craft it at the crafting station using the Sand and Coal Ores. Moreover, you can purchase it from Kristoff’s Stall.
6x Iron Ingot: Craft it at the crafting station using Iron Ores and Coal Ores. Moreover, you can purchase it from Kristoff’s Stall.
2x Diamond: Mine the rock nodes in the Forgotten Lands biome.
After gathering all the ingredients, go to the crafting station to craft 4x Shadow Spotlight. You can find the recipe under the “Functional Items” tab. Once done, open the map to find Sally and go to her to speak with her.
Meet Peter Pan inside Belle and the Beast’s Castle
After speaking with Sally, go to Belle and the Beast’s Castle in the Valley. As you go inside, wait for Peter Pan and the Beast to finish the conversation. Once done, speak with Peter Pan. After that, you need to place the Shadow Spotlight on the four sparkling spots on the floor. Now, wait until Kristoff sews on Peter’s shadows. Lastly, speak with Peter Pan to conclude the Shadow Tag quest.

Completing the Shadow Tag quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley gives 440 Friendship Points as a reward.
