The Music’s on the Walls is the new story quest for the Forgotten character in Disney Dreamlight Valley. How to Complete the Music’s on the Walls Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
The Music’s on the Walls quest begins automatically after completing the A Ship of Gold quest. As you go through the second gate in the Skull Rock, the Music’s on the Walls quest will begin, requiring you to investigate further into the Skull Rock.
Follow the glowing Musical Note in Skull Rock
Speak to the Forgotten past the second gate, and it will tell you to follow the musical note. Before you go down to follow the note, pick up the key from the ground. It is the key to the chest in the Captain’s Cabin. Now, head down to see the musical note. Follow it to catch the musical note, and a memory will appear.
Find clues to find more Glowing Musical Notes
At this point, you will already have 1 memory from the musical note. To find the second clue, you need to unlock the chest in the Captain’s Cabin. Hoping that you have picked up the key, make your way to the Captain’s Cabin on the Ship. Enter the cabin and interact with the chest to open it. It will reveal a Pirate Map with the location of a treasure. Now, go back to the Forgotten and tell him about the clues.
Find Buried Pirate Treasure
Open the Pirate Map to narrow down the location of the “X” marker on the map. It is pointing towards the Lonely Island, where players originally find Ariel. Use the raft to make your way to the Lonely Island. Go to the left side to find a buried pirate treasure in the sand. Use the Royal Shovel to dig the treasure, and you will find the Pan Flute.
Find the Glowing Musical Notes
You need to find 5 glowing musical notes scattered around the Valley. All of the notes are well-hidden, instead of roaming around in the open. Here are all the locations to find the 5 glowing musical notes in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Speak with the Jade Skulls in the Skull Rock and answer the riddle correctly to get 1 musical note. The correct answer to the riddle is “Pixie Dust”.
Go to Ursula’s Cave on Dazzle Beach and fish out the musical note.
Go to the Dreamscape using the Treehouse in the Forgotten Lands to find the musical note.
Go to the Secret Chamber in Frosted Heights and break the Ice to find the musical note.
Go to the Dream Castle and chase after the final musical note.
After finding the Pan Flute and all five musical notes, go back to the Forgotten in Skull Rock.
Place the notes and play the score
Once there, interact with the music sheet to place the Pan Flute and the musical notes. After that, you need to align the musical notes on the left and right sides according to the notes on the music sheet. Interact with the switches to move the musical notes and place them correctly. After placing the notes correctly, interact with the Pan Flute on the sheet. Once done, speak with the Forgotten.
Trap the shadow and redo the musical notes
Unfortunately, the shadow will move the musical notes that you just placed. Before you can redo all of the notes again, you must trap the shadow. The Forgotten will give you a broken lantern and the materials to craft a Pixie Dust Lantern. There will be a crafting station to the right. Interact with it to craft a Pixie Dust Lantern and place it on the Rope Winch. Now, rotate the Rope Winches to trap the shadow on the wall in the middle. After trapping the shadow, redo the music notes on both the left and right sides. Once done, interact with the Pan Flute.
Find Peter Pan’s hiding spot in the Valley
Now, it’s time to find the hiding spot of Peter Pan. Go out of the Skull Rock and follow the Pixie Dust trail on the ground. The trail will lead you to the center of the Plaza. Once there, you need to go to the Dark Dream Castle through the portal. Make your way to the Dark Dream Castle and follow the Pixie Dust trail. Make your way to the upper floor of the castle to find Peter Pan. Speak to Peter Pan and go through the dialogues.
Place Peter Pan’s Hideout in the Valley
Now, go back to the Valley and enter the build mode to place Peter Pan’s Hideout anywhere in the Valley. Once done, interact with Scrooge’s sign to build the hideout. It will cost you 20,000 Star Coins to build the hideout/house. After that, welcome Peter Pan by taking a picture of him coming to the Valley. Lastly, speak with Peter Pan and go to the Forgotten to conclude the Music’s on the Walls quest.
