Following some technical troubles last weekend, The Coalition has announced an extension of Gears of War: Reloaded beta this weekend on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The first beta test had soured the experience for many, and the studio says it has “heard” players’ complaints.

Gears of War: Reloaded’s second beta will kick off tomorrow, June 20, 12 p.m. PT and will run until Sunday, June 22, 9 p.m. PT. New maps and modes will be introduced including Execution and King of the Hill.

Social Team Deathmatch modes will include:

Gridlock

Gold Rush

Raven Down

Courtyard

War Machine

Competitive modes will include:

King of the Hill + Execution

Gridlock

Raven Down

Courtyard

War Machine

Canals

As a reminder, players need to preorder Gears of War: Reloaded to be able to partake in the beta test. The game will release on August 26 for $39.99, and will come with PS5 Pro enhancements.

“Experience features specific to the PS5 platform such as DualSense wireless controller integrations including haptic feedback, controller speaker support and adaptive triggers,” The Coalition wrote. “Enjoy PlayStation Super Spectral Resolution support as well as improved shadow and reflections quality.”
