How to Unlock the Vampire Race in Rune Slayer
Follow these steps to gain access to the Vampire race.
Go to Greatwood Forest and find the swamp areaSearch for the small cave entranceIn this cave, the Vampire NPC spawns, but this is not always a guarantee. Many players have to server hop for him to randomly spawnDefeat this enemy to potentially obtain the Vampire Blood Vial as a reward dropConsume the Vampire Blood Vial to unlock the Vampire race
Vampire Passives
These passives are automatically unlocked when you become a vampire.
Nocturnal Being
When the sun is up and it’s daytime, all of your base stats decrease by 15%. However, once the sun sets and it’s nighttime, your base stats increase by 20%.
This is because vampires are notoriously known for being weaker in the sun and stronger when it’s dark outside! Props to Rune Slayer for sticking to the vampire lore.
Famished
When you receive Bleed DMG, your HP replenishes… because, well, blood and vampires go together like strawberries and cream. But, because you aren’t feeding properly, your hunger causes you to take 15% extra Holy DMG when attacked with Holy Magic.
Bloodthirst
When you manage to make the enemy bleed, your HP replenishes by 50% of the Bleed DMG you dealt to your opponent. Vampires love blood!
Vampiric
Because you’re a vampire, which is historically classed as an ‘unholy creature’, any Holy DMG you receive increases by 5%. This means you need to watch out for any opponents who may be wielding Holy Magic at all times. If so, either avoid them or boost your DEF.
Vampiric Merit
You gain +1 Luck.
Vampire Abilities
Which abilities can you wield as a vampire?
Sanguine Burst (Level 10)
You unleash a quick burst of flames towards the enemy, which deals a total of 20 Fire DMG and drains 35 Mana.
