The True Treasure is a new Discovery quest in Palia. It is the third and final quest of the new Hunt for Prismbeard’s Treasure questline. Players who have updated the game to the latest patch will learn about the new secret cave that Auni found. As players investigate the new cave, they will find a Pirate Map leading them to clues about Prismbeard’s Treasure. This guide will walk you through the True Treasure quest in Palia.
How to Complete the True Treasure Quest in Palia
Starting the Quest
The True Treasure is the third quest of the Hunt for Prismbeard’s Treasure questline. In order for players to start the True Treasure quest, they must complete the Prismbeard’s Lost Treasure quest. At the end of the Prismbeard’s Lost Treasure quest, players will find the Pirate’s Spyglass that will help them locate the treasure. As they tell Auni and Nai’o about their findings, the quest will conclude, and the True Treasure quest will initiate automatically.
Ask Caleri about Prismbeard
Upon initiating the quest, open the map to find Caleri. Go to Caleri and speak to her about Prismbeard. Ask her to give you her research on Prismbeard. Once done, open the inventory and read the Prismbeard Clippings. Go through all of the pages to learn more about Prismbeard. The research will include some images of locations that you need to visit next. After reading about Prismbeard, go to Auni and Nai’o. Tell them about what you have learned about Prismbeard.
Find Prismbeard’s Childhood Home
The first location you need to visit is Prismbeard’s Childhood Home. It is located on the west side of the Mauvais Way area. You can open the research again and look at the photograph closely. The exact coordinates of Prismbeard’s Childhood Home are A4. As you reach the location, you will see Prismbeard’s Statue. Interact with it and go through the dialogues. Once done, speak with Auni nearby.
Find where Prismbeard sailed his first ship
The second location that you need to visit is where Prismbeard sailed his first ship. This location is the small pond outside the Red Blossom Cave. If you go to the eastern entrance of the Red Blossom Cave, you will find the pond. The exact coordinates of the pond are F6. Once there, interact with the statue and go through the dialogue. After that, speak with Auni.
Find where Prismbeard first set sail
The third location that you need to visit is where Prismbeard first set sail. This location is none other than the De Mer Dock. Travel to the De Mer Dock and go to the main gazebo to find the statue. The exact coordinates of this location are B8. Once there, interact with the statue and go through the dialogue. After that, speak with Auni.
Find where Prismbeard was caught
The fourth location that you need to visit is where Prismbeard was caught. This location is the Central Stables of the Elderwood. However, you need to go up the pathways in the Central Stables to find the statue. The statue is right next to the Umbraan Shrine in the Central Stables. The exact coordinates of the statue are F4. Once there, interact with the statue and go through the dialogue. After that, speak with Auni.
Find where Prismbeard escaped
The fifth and final location that you need to visit is where Prismbeard made his escape. This location is in the very center of the Mitana Grove area. Go to the platform in the center of Mitana Grove to find the statue. The exact coordinates of the statue are G2. Once there, interact with the statue and go through the dialogue. After that, speak with Auni.
Return to Eobard’s Revenge
After updating Auni and Nai’o, they will tell you to come back to the cave. Now, go to the secret cave, south of the Okanaa Bog area in the Elderwood. Go down the slide in the cave and take a left turn. Follow along the path to see Auni and a statue near the staircase. Interact with the Statue and then speak with Auni. Now, go up the staircase and enter the room in the front.
Solve the final puzzle
As you enter the room, you will see four discs near a gate. Each disc is rotatable, and there are four different symbols on each disc. You need to place the correct symbol on each disc and then press the purple button behind the discs to check if the pattern is correct. If it is correct, the door will open. For simplification, we will determine the discs in directions. Here is the correct pattern for the discs.
NORTH (Up): Green Symbol
East (Right): Purple Symbol
South (Down): Orange Symbol
West (Left): Blue Symbol
Press the button behind the discs after placing the correct pattern to open the door. The door will unveil Prismbeard’s Treasure. Loot the treasure and then speak with Auni and Nai’o. Go through the dialogues, and the quest will conclude.
