Grow a Garden Trading Servers
As we all know, trading somewhat exists in Grow a Garden, albeit it’s not overly trustworthy and can lead to a few scams.
However, Trading Servers exist, which cap out at 50 players, and are specially created just for trading purposes. Does it get rid of the already-existing risks? Let’s find out.
How to Access a Trading Server
The only way to gain access to a trading server is by launching the Staging Game version of Grow a Garden. You can do so by clicking this link to find a list of private 50-player servers.
Note that zero servers will show up if you do not have your own or have access to any private servers. Luckily, creating a private server is free! You can always ask to be granted access to someone else’s private server by asking in the Grow a Garden Discord server.
About Trading Servers
Due to how many people will be in the server at once (up to 50), not everyone’s gardens will spawn in. Only the server host and the next few players will be able to access their garden here. To be honest, it’s for the best, so as not to increase any chances of crop stealing.
When you’re in a trading server, you can use the chat box to directly contact other players regarding items you want to trade with or for.
Are There Any Risks of Scamming?
Having a total of 50 players in a server, all trying to trade, can make things a little difficult to keep track of, and this certainly doesn’t reduce the risk of scams.
It’s basically a hub for people to directly discuss potential trades without requests becoming lost within the trading channel in the game’s official Discord server. Still, this doesn’t stop people from joining a 50-player trading server just to scam others.
