What are the best honey methods in Grow a Garden? This guide tells you how to efficiently farm this new currency so you don’t miss out on any of the latest bee-themed limited items from the Bizzy Bees update.

Why You Need Honey
Every hour at XX:00, the Bee Swarm event triggers. During this, Bees travel to gardens and pollinate crops at random. Players harvest the crops and hand them over to the Bee Combpresser NPC, who makes x10 Honey per 10kg of Pollinated Fruit.
Honey is then used as currency when checking out the Queen Bee’s store. She sells a variety of wares, including a new Honey Pet Egg, Flower Seed Pack, Cosmetic Crate, and more.
But, how do you maximise Pollinations each time the event happens? The event and items are limited after all, so efficiency is necessary…
Best Honey Methods in Grow a Garden
Let’s get into it!
Remove All Small Crops
This includes things such as Strawberries, Blueberries, etc. Anything with an average weight below 2kg will only slow down the Pollination.
Spam as many Bamboo as possible!
Bamboo grows quickly and tall, often weighing at least 5kg. This means you only need two to convert into x10 Honey.
Only Plant Heavier Fruits
This includes but isn’t limited to: Dragon Fruits, Coconuts, Beanstalks, and Mangoes.Keep in mind, the event scales off of fruit weight, not rarity. So it’s more efficient to hand in heavy but low-rarity crops, so that you can save the profitable ones to sell. That said, I have two beanstalks and both always average 10 kg+ crops, so I find them efficient for this event.
Do the maths!
Maths isn’t fun… But knowing the weights of your produce helps massively in making them go further. For example, if you have a 9kg Dragon Fruit, 1kg Peach, and 0.25kg Strawberry, it’d make more sense to give the Dragon Fruit and Peach, rather than wasting the Strawberry and still being short. You can always wait for the next event and stock up on produce to mix and match.
