Elden Ring Nightreign offers 8 unique classes/characters called the Nightfarers for players to pick from, and start the expedition in Limveld. However, as the players start their journey, they will only have access to 6 characters. The final hidden character in Elden Ring Nightreign is Revenant, a necromancer character that raises the dead and conjures spirits. This guide will break down how to unlock the Revenant in Elden Ring Nightreign.
How to Unlock the Revenant in Elden Ring Nightreign
Unlocking the Revenant requires players to acquire the Besmirched Frame (Relic) and win the duel against the “Night Idol”, a.k.a., the Revenant. The Besmirched Frame relic is purchased from the Small Jar Bazaar for 1,500 Murk. However, the Besmirched Frame relic will not be available until you unlock Duchess as a playable character.
After unlocking Duchess, go to the Small Jar Bazaar and scroll down to find the Besmirched Frame relic. If you have completed the initial expedition, you shall have enough Murk to purchase the relic. Upon purchasing the Relic, a phantom will appear in the hub area. You can find the phantom in a room looking at a picture on the wall. Interact with the phantom, and agree to touch the phantom.
It will teleport you to a battle arena, where you will fight the Night Idol (Revenant). She conjures three different spirits at once in the fight. It will be a four-on-one fight, so it can be difficult. The easiest way to deal with the Night Idol is to defeat the spirits first and then focus on the phantom. Defeating the Night Idol in a fight will unlock the Revenant as a playable character for you.
