There are different rarities of materials that players will have to get in Palia to both progress in the story and to decorate their house. Most of the early game materials, whether Common or Uncommon, can be found through various means. However, with the new expansion, Elderwood, there are various new materials for players to acquire. One of the new common materials is the Muskin, an alternative to Leather made purely with mushrooms. This guide will help you how to get Muskin in Palia.
How to Get Muskin in Palia
Acquiring Muskin requires players to craft it at the Fabric Loom using Any Mushroom. Crafting Muskin on your own would require several things. First and foremost, you need to unlock Fabric Loom. It is the crafter in which you will craft the Muskin. After that, you need to unlock the Recipe for Muskin.
How to Get Muskin Recipe in Palia
There are a couple of ways to acquire the recipe for Muskin in Palia. The first method is to purchase the recipe from the Furniture Making Guild upon reaching Furniture Making Level 2. Go to Tish and browse her Store to buy the Muskin Recipe, and it will cost you 100 Gold.
Now, the second method to get the recipe is by crafting and placing the Fabric Loom at the Housing Plot. If you are a new player and place the Fabric Loom in the plot area, you will get the Muskin recipe straightaway. However, if you are an old player and do not have the recipe, you can purchase it from the guild store.
Moreover, you can pick up the Staircase Mushrooms in the Elderwood, and it will have a chance to drop the recipe.
Craft Muskin at the Fabric Loom
After getting the crafter and the recipe, you can craft Muskin using any Mushroom. You can use Mountain Morel, Brightshroom, Staircase Mushroom, Floatfish Mushroom, etc. Each piece of Muskin will require 1x Any Mushroom. It will take 5 minutes for 1 Muskin to craft in the Fabric Loom.
You can also speed up the process by placing more Fabric Loom Crafters in your plot area. Divide the Mushrooms among the crafters to get multiple Muskin after every 5 minutes.
Uses of Muskin in Palia
The primary use of Muskin is to craft various new Elderwood furniture items and the Bag of Illusion Relic. As players purchase the Bag of Illusion Schematic, it will begin the Master of Disguise quest. During the quest, players will have to craft Muskin to craft the Relic. In addition to these uses, players can sell the Muskin for 18 Gold to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin. Moreover, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or who need it as a weekly want. If you craft any Muskin, store them in the storage so you can give them to villagers who need them. The needs of villagers change every week, so keep your eyes on them.
