Various gatherables in Palia are used for decoration, gifting, and as resources for crafting furniture items. Most foraging items have a specific area where they grow in a limited number. One of the new gatherables that grows in low quantity and grows only at a certain place is the Flowtato. It is required as an ingredient for various new recipes added with the recent Elderwood expansion. This guide will help you find the Flowtato in Palia.
Where to Find Flowtato in Palia
Flowtato is found growing in the Deep Woods area of the Elderwood map zone. It does not grow at any specific time, so you can forage it at any time of the day. Look for the bright purple potato on the ground with leaves on top of it. Interact with it to forage it. Since it is a rare vegetable, it grows in lower quantities than other plants and gatherables in the Deep Woods area.
Moreover, similar to all other materials and gatherables in Elderwood, you might come across some infected Flowtato. These have a dark aura around them. You cannot forage it regularly by interaction, instead, you have to use the Elderwood Potion. You can purchase the Elderwood Potion from Tamala’s Potion Shop in the Central Stables. Furthermore, if you have the Bag of Illusion Relic, you can forage it without any special equipment or potion.
Gathering the infected Flowtatoes will also grant you a lower amount of Infected Essence. It is a new currency that you mainly use at Tamala’s Potion Shop to purchase various items.
Uses of Flowtato in Palia
Players will mainly need the Flowtato for cooking the new meals in Palia. Some of the new meals that require Flowtato are Elderwood Pie, Flowtato Fries with Ketchup, etc. Moreover, you can sell the Flowtato for 60 Gold (Basic) and 90 Gold (Star-Quality) to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin. Consuming a Flowtato grants 30 Focus Points.Last but not least, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or to those who need it.
