“We should go before they find us.” “They already have.” Saban Films has revealed the official trailer for an action thriller movie titled Resurrection Road, an indie film telling a story from the days of the US Civil War (1861-1865). This is set for a release in theaters and on VOD together starting in June in one month from now. “Killing folks is thristy business.” An elite squad of six Black soldiers, led by ex-slave Barabbas, have been sent on a suicide mission; to infiltrate a Confederate fort deep in the Arkansas woods and blow up its long-range guns, altering the course of the war. A mission that “will test their courage, loyalty, and will to survive like never before.” Starring Malcolm Goodwin as Barabbas, Furly Mac, Triana Browne, Okea Eme-Akwari, Randall J. Bacon, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Michael Madsen as Quantrill.
