Hangar 13 and 2K officially revealed Mafia: The Old Country release date for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC alongside a flashy new trailer, but it’s the price that stuck out in the announcement. The game will cost $49.99 when it launches on August 8, with a packed Deluxe Edition priced at $59.99.

Hangar 13 seems to have learned from its previous mistakes, and opted for a linear game as opposed to an open-world experience.
Mafia 3 players will recall that although Hangar 13 crafted a beautiful game with a great story, the open-world gameplay left much to be desired. This time, players have been promised “quality storytelling” and “authentic era immersion” in a linear setting.
From the sound of things, Mafia: The Old Country might just be one of the summer hits of 2025.
