Thrown into the game with a short tutorial, you may be wondering how to progress in Wagarashi. We’ll give you some tips to help you rank up.
Start leveling up in Wagarashi. To help in your gameplay, try and obtain the Wagarashi Items, as they all have buffs. If you’re a beginner reading this, you’ll need to know the Wagarashi Controls.
How To Progress In Wagarashi
If you want to view your progression and where you are in the game, select the button that has the icon of a backpack on the upper left-hand side of your screen. This opens your menu, where you can view your details. You’ll want to focus on your rank and how many grips you have.
The Wagarashi Rank you are is crucial, as each time you rank up, you will gain an increase in Chakra, HP, access higher-level Jujitsu, and unlock certain progressions that tend to be locked behind a prestige.
Leveling Up and Skill Points
The best way to level up is by completing missions. You can do this by creating a squad (the button on the lower right of your screen) and then selecting the type of squad. When you defeat or grip an opponent, you will earn EXP, which contributes to leveling up.
As you rank up, you will start to earn skill points, which you can invest in your skill tree. You can invest in the following areas:
Fire
Lightning
Water
Earth
Wind
Tai
Medical
Kenjutsu
To invest your points, open the menu and click the small arrow button that is on the left of your profile menu. This will open a list of all the elements in your skill tree, and tell you how many points you have. Investing in your skill tree gives you moves and abilities, so it’s up to you which element you want to prioritise.
Weapons
As you start to level up and get stronger, it’s worth thinking about purchasing a weapon to help in your gameplay. You can speak to the Village Seller NPC, who is located near all village entrances, to purchase weapons.
If you’re in the early stages of gameplay, the Kunai is a great option as it only costs 95 and does decent damage. Once you move onto the early-mid stages and you’ve familiarised yourself with gameplay more, I recommend the Katana. It deals more damage and costs 500. The late-game weapons tend to be those you cannot purchase and are dropped by bosses. Although hard to come by, they’re worth the grind.
