How to Unlock Takizawa V2

As the Takizawa Kagune is of the Legendary rarity, the cost of RC Cells to upgrade to V2 is higher. For all Legendary Kagune, unlocking their V2 variant costs between 200K and 350K RC Cells! You can only upgrade your V1 Kagune once you have mastered it, which means reaching B Grade or above.

You must then consume Ukaku fragments, as Takizawa uses Ukaku in its attacks – you can also eat Kagune Sacs! After this, you also need to eat a Ghoul that has a third of your current RC.

How to Unlock the Takizawa Kakuja

We have a guide on how to unlock Kakuja, but I can go over it quickly here! Firstly, you must have the correct amount of RC Cells, which is 2.5 million, and you need a V2 Kagune. Next, speak with Z in the construction yard – Permadeath mode must be active for the right dialogue to appear. He lets you know how far off you are from unlocking your Kakuja and how your progression is going.

Kagune Moves

Takizawa is a Legendary Kagune with a 3% drop rate chance. It utilises Ukaku!

V1

Critical
Slash with your Kagune and strike the enemyIf you perform this whilst mid-air and then feint, you unleash up to 4 Ukaku Shards
These shards explode into smaller pieces upon contact

Vanish (C Ability)
Move forward quickly, and if your Kagune touches the enemy, you pose before dealing damage to all targets that made contact with your Kagune
Ravage (Z Ability)
Slash the enemy 3 times with your KaguneIf you manage to make contact with the enemy, you dash towards them and slash one more time in a 360 spin
Silence (X Ability)
Perform a 360 spin, slashing the enemy whilst you do it
If you successfully strike your target, you move quickly, pushing them away before appearing again to slam down into the ground

V2

Critical
Similar to the V1 Critical, but much stronger
Leviathan Skewer (C Ability)
Summon a shard that explodes on the ground as you dash toward the enemyIf you successfully strike your target, you turn invisible, appearing in random spots around the enemy before you can finish the attack with a combo move
Using M2 after this sends you into the air, unleashing 3 shards that explode upon impact with the enemy

Maraud (Z Ability)
Slash the enemy multiple times with your Kagune in a flurry attack
Taciturnity (X Ability)
Strike horizontally with your Kagune before turning invisible, appearing around the enemy in various spots to confuse them
Once you reappear, you slash vertically to hit your target
