Shadows accompany you in Arise Crossover battles! A great way of finding new Shadows and levelling up your current ones is by taking part in the array of Arise Crossover Dungeons.

Arise Crossover Shadow Progression

All Shadows have a rarity, with low ranks being more common than higher ranks. To evolve and upgrade your Shadows, you need to farm for them via dungeons and mob battles across the islands.

To obtain Shadows, you must Arise a defeated enemy. This then copies over their rank and current level, whom you can then summon to fight by your side.

Shadow Upgrades

To upgrade your Shadow, you need to speak with the Shadow Upgrader NPC on Solo Leveling Island. This NPC looks like Rimuru from the That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime series!

By talking to this NPC, you can upgrade your obtained Shadows up to SS Rank. To do this, you must acquire copies of the same Shadow, including E Rank, D Rank, C Rank, B Rank, A Rank, and S Rank. You can find these ranks by exploring each island or taking part in dungeons.

Max Levels

Depending on the rank of the Shadow, they each have a max level. The higher the rank and the level, the more damage the Shadow deals in battle.

To increase the level of your Shadows, you must continue defeating both mobs and Brutes, with the latter providing more EXP and HP boosts. Dungeons are also a great way to not only obtain new Shadows but level up the ones you already have. The EXP a Shadow obtains scales off of how much damage they deal in combat!
