How to Get a Hollow Era Hogyoku – and Why You Need One!

How to Get a Hollow Era Hogyoku

To be in with a chance of obtaining a Hogyoku for yourself, you need to battle against and defeat the King of Hueco Mundo boss. A complete Hogyoku has a 1% drop rate chance upon defeat, so it’s quite a rare item to get.

Or, you can collect Hogyoku Fragments by defeating the King of Hueco Mundo’s clones. They have a chance of dropping the fragments, which you can then use to craft a full Hogyoku. You need a total of 3 fragments to do this!

Sometimes, a Hogyoku Fragment is available within the daily rewards, so keep an eye out for that too.

What Does a Hogyoku Do?

There are 2 purposes of a Hogyoku.

Unlocking Vizard

You need a Hogyoku to become a Vizard! Once you use the Hogyoku, the level 50+ quest to unlock Vizard is activated. You must be a Shinigami for this to work.

Grants a Wish

When you have a Hogyoku, you can use it to grant 1 of 4 wishes. Upon usage, a box appears that asks you to describe what you wish for the most.

Wealth
Grants you additional in-game money
The WorldFame
Provides a boost to your reputation
More Power
Increases your power and strength

If you’re not too sure on which to choose, you can select the ‘End Dialogue’ option to cancel the action. The Hogyoku will still be in your inventory, so don’t worry!
