There’s no right or wrong class to pick! It all comes down to what you’re looking for in an RPG.

S Tier

The best classes in Rune Slayer.

Priest
The ultimate healer class, which branches off into Cleric if you wish to pick up the subclassWhilst only allowed to use Light Armor, this is the only class in the game which prioritises healing themselves and allies, with the ability of reviving them tooDeals Holy DMG when attacking enemies
Magician
Attacks enemies at range with magical spells that you can obtain by progressing through the gameSkill set includes incantations that buff themselves and allies such as boosts to Strength, Dexterity, and IntellectHas the ability to shield allies to protect them from oncoming damageCan summon food and water to replenish HP and Mana

A Tier

A good choice!

Archer
A ranged class that utilises a bow and arrow in combat – staying far away from the enemy always has its benefits!Highly agile but relies on FocusBattle Aura ability has various forms, ranging from boosting your movement speed and DMG, or reducing the amount of DMG you take

B Tier

There’s nothing wrong with these classes, but be wary of them.

Warrior
A tank class which prioritises defense more than anything elseDeals Physical DMG and relies on Focus

C Tier

Definitely not a recommendation/

Striker
A melee class that focuses on using their fists rather than a weaponRelies on close range combat, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean getting up close and personal with strong enemiesUses gauntlets as weapons rather than a sword, bow, or staff

D Tier

The weakest classes in Rune Slayer.

Thief
Excels in high agility, allowing them to move around in battle at an astonishing speedUses light weapons which don’t deal as much damage
