Dig It Imp Shovel Guide – How To Unlock
The Imp Shovel resides in the second layer of Volkayno called the Devil’s Pits. To unlock this area, you must first complete the Volkayno Collection including obtaining the mount. In return for your efforts, you’ll obtain the Molten Key, a new Exotic needed to turn on the elevator located to the right of the Magmatar spawn.
When inside Devil’s Pits, you’ll then need to accept the quest given by the Brewton NPC. In exchange for 1x Pepper, 1x Lava Flower, x1 Crystal, x1 Lava Slime and x1 Lava Bucket, you’ll gain a Fire Resistance potion which allows travel to the deeper layer of this burning area. The lower area is home to several Imp NPCs, and the Imp Shovel rests next to the Impman NPC.
Imp Shovel Stats and Passive
In exchange for 70,500 D$ and being at least level 35+, you’ll receive a shovel with the following stats:
Strength: 60Stamina Loss: 7%Loot Luck: 30%Control: 40%Stability: 45%Precision: 45%Max Weight: 250,000 KG
The Imp Shovel visually appears similar to the Evil Shovel, a now unobtainable tool once obtained from the daily login rewards. However, the Imp Shovel stats are slightly better than its Evil counterpart, and both are the only two tools in the game that have the chance to apply the Evil Mutation, increasing item value by x2.
This isn’t the best tool that Volkayno offers, but for avid collectors, it’s a neat Shovel to pick up and try, especially if you missed out on the Evil Shovel.
