Fisch Ashfall Bestiary – Ashfall Quest Walkthrough!

The Fisch Ashfall event includes a limited-time Bestiary page and a quest that offers up 2 new rewards!

Participate in the event now in Fisch! You might remember Dr Finneus from the Fisch Archeology Bestiary event too, which also includes limited-time fish.

Fisch Ashfall Guide

Within this guide, I discuss both the Ashfall Bestiary and the Ashfall Quest. To complete the quest, you need to catch all of the fish that are part of the Ashfall Bestiary. These fish are only available for a limited amount of time during the Volcano Event.

Make sure to catch them all so you don’t miss out on the rewards! On top of the goodies you get for completing Dr Finneus’s quest, you also get the Volcanic Explore title by simply taking part in the event.

Ashfall Bestiary

Within the Ashfall pool, you also have a chance to catch a Coelacanth, which is an already-existing fish in the game. It has the Rare rarity, which means you’ll likely reel in quite a few of these as you try to catch the exclusive Ashfall fish. It has a preference for the nighttime during the Spring and Autumn.

Event-exclusive Fish

All of these fish are available to catch within the Coral Reef and the surrounding water around Roslit Bay. The water where these fish reside is bright orange, resembling lava!

Ashfall Quest

If you haven’t been to Roslit Bay in the past few days, you may not have noticed the Volcano Eruption that occurred. Once you’re on the island, head to the Coral Reef area to find Dr Finneus on a research boat – yep, he’s back!

Speak with Dr Finneus to find out more about the quest. For me, the Ashfall Bestiary page was already unlocked without having to speak with him. It’s under the Limited Fish tab within the Bestiary!
