Fisch Tentacle Surge

Tentacle Surge is an obtainable Mutation that you can collect whilst fishing in Fisch. However, there is only one fishing rod that can catch fish with the Tentacle Surge Mutation. Any Tentacle Surge fish can be sold for 1.5x the normal selling value.

How to Get Tentacle Surge Fish

If you want Tentacle Surge fish, either because of the increased selling value or because you like how the Mutation alters the appearance of your catches, this is the section for you.

With the Kraken Rod, you have a 5% chance to catch a fish with the Tentacle Surge Mutation. It’s a pretty low spawn rate, but this is the only rod that can apply this Mutation.

Obtain the Kraken Rod

The singular rod that can catch Tentacle Surge fish is the Kraken Rod. This is one of the more difficult fishing rods to obtain in Fisch, as it has a bunch of prerequisites to complete beforehand. First off, let’s start with the location. The Kraken Rod is available to purchase in the Kraken Pools within Atlantis.

To access the Kraken Pools, you need to complete all of the Mythological Clocks that reside within each room of Atlantis – including those locked behind trials. Upon finishing the Mythological Clocks, you then need to complete one more to unlock the Kraken Pools location. Here, you can purchase the Kraken Rod for 1,333,333 Coins.

As well as the potential Tentacle Surge application, you have a 10% chance to obtain double the amount of fish per catch. That and, after you catch 50 fish, you are guaranteed an Exotic, Mythic, or Legendary fish.
