How To Get To The Top Of The Oil Rig In Fisch

How To Get To The Top Of The Oil Rig In Fisch

Before you know how to get to the top, you’ll need to know where it is. Take your boat and head towards Roslit Bay. You’ll find the large Oil Rig to the north of Roslit, and south of Sunstone. You can follow the compass at the top of your screen to help! Or, you can use the GPS item and head to these coordinates: X: -1762.3, Y: 129.8, Z: -498.2

Getting To The Top

Once you’ve arrived at the Oil Rig, head to the Shipwright NPC who is on the left hand side (if you come in near the docking station). Beside him is a rope you can use to climb to the top. Make sure you climb it by going up it facing the left, as otherwise you’ll hit your head on the roof of the upper floor and need to re-climb it (yes… I know from experience).

If you prefer to show off, you can climb to the top of Roslit Volcano and use the Advanced Glider to soar through the skies and land on top of the Oil Rig.

What Is At The Top?

After you’ve climbed up, you can’t go any higher. However, you will find a bunch of NPCs including Dr Glimmerfin, who you may remember from the Golden Tide Event. Although there’s nothing to do on the Oil Rig (and it doesn’t have its own bestiary at the moment either), speaking to the NPCs does imply this location may be used for some quests in the near future. Only time will tell, but if anything happens at the Oil Rig, we’ll tell you about it!
