You need to know about the Dig It Stats if you’re planning to dig up every item possible in the game! Did you know you can also boost your stats with enchants?
Pay attention to the stats of your shovels in Dig It! Learn about two of the latest shovels with our Dig It Venom Shovel guide and our Dig It Dynamite Shovel guide.
Dig It Stats
Depending on the stats of a shovel, you may find it easier or more difficult to complete your Collection pages.
All Stats Explained
The stats you need to know about!
Maximum Weight
Depending on the maximum weight of a shovel, you can either dig up larger/heavier items or smaller/lighter ones. The larger an item, and the heavier it is, sells for more when you speak to a Merchant NPC.
The rarest items in Dig It tend to be heavier and larger in size too, so if you want to complete your Collection pages, it’s best to get a shovel with a decent maximum weight stat.
Strength
This stat determines how strong your shovel is. The weaker the shovel, the less the white line moves across the bar during the minigame. The stronger the shovel, the more it moves when you click the screen.
Stability
The more stable a shovel, the less the bar moves. This makes it easier for you to keep the white line on the bar in the minigame. If a shovel has weak stability, the bar moves much more erratically.
Precision
The higher the precision, the larger the bar is during the minigame. This means you have a larger target to keep the white line on, making it much easier for you to stay in control.
Luck
The higher the luck stat of a rod, the more likely you are to dig up rare and expensive items. A low luck stat reduces your chances of obtaining rare or event items.
Control
The higher the control stat, the easier it is to control the white bar in the minigame. Low control means it’s difficult to keep the white line as still as possible on top of the bar.
Loss of Stamina
If the white line is outside of the bar, the progress of the minigame reduces. The longer the white line is on the bar, the more progress you make. When the white line is outside of the bar, you lose ‘stamina’. You need full stamina to complete the minigame and to dig up the item!
Stat Buffs
Every shovel has stats, and you can increase these stats by enchanting them with moles on Mole Island. The enchants you can obtain for your shovels are:
