Should You Buy the Dig It Treasure Scanner?

The Dig It Treasure Scanner is pretty inexpensive, meaning it won’t break the bank if you do end up purchasing it. However, do you need to get it?

Purchase the item in Dig It! Improve your shovel by utilising the Dig It Enchantments – they may provide you with a higher chance of collecting a super rare item.

The Treasure Scanner item works similarly to how the Fish Radar tool works in Fisch. Both have the same controls and purpose!

How to Obtain the Dig It Treasure Scanner

To get the Treasure Scanner item, you need to be on Nookville Island. Head to the area that looks like a street with houses, and search for the Hobo NPC. If you’re struggling to find him, look out for the Nuke Statue at the furthest end of the street.

The Hobo NPC stands to the right of it next to a barrel of fire and cardboard boxes. The Treasure Scanner tool is on the ground to the left of the Hobo, in front of one of the cardboard boxes. Interact with the item to purchase it for a total of 10K in-game coins.

Is the Treasure Scanner Worth it?

For a measly 10K in-game coins, it’s well worth it! Once purchased, it appears in your hotbar at the bottom of your screen. When holding the Treasure Scanner, simply click the screen to turn it on, and repeat to turn it back off.

When you activate the Treasure Scanner, it displays nearby hotspots for specific items. In particular, it highlights items with Rare, Legendary, and Mythic rarities, though it can show more common items too. Keep in mind that it doesn’t display all of the Rare, Legendary, or Mythic items, so don’t be surprised if the one you’re looking for doesn’t appear.
