Fisch Subspace Mutation

With the high increase in selling value, the Subspace Mutation is arguably the best way to farm in-game coins right now. However, there is only one way to get this type of fish, and it relies on having a very specific Enchantment.

What is the Subspace Mutation?

If a fish has the Subspace Mutation, it turns neon pink/red and emits bright pink stars. When selling a fish with this mutation, you earn 5x as much thanks to its multiplier.

How to Catch Subspace Fish

You must use a fishing rod with the Quantum Exalted Enchantment to catch Subspace fish. With this Enchant, each fish you catch has a 25% of having the Subspace Mutation.

Exalted Enchantments are obtained via Exalted Relics, which differ from the usual Enchant Relics that all players are familiar with. Not only do they look different, but they provide a new set of Enchants.

One of these is the Quantum Enchant, which is required when catching Subspace fish. Without this Enchant, you cannot obtain fish with this Mutation. Like with all Relics, you are not guaranteed the Enchant you want, as you are randomly assigned one upon Enchantment.

What are Mutations?

If you’re a new player, you might not know what Mutations are. Whenever you catch a fish with a Mutation, its name changes to something like ‘Big Cod’ or ‘Hexed Cod’. The former word is the Mutation itself, which in turn increases the selling value of said fish. Some Mutated fish can be obtained by simply fishing with any rod, though others have a higher chance of appearing when using certain rods or Enchantments.
