The Fisch Floppy, although surprisingly cute-looking, also makes for a tricky catch due to it being of a higher rarity. I’ll talk you through where you can find these creatures flopping around in the water, and their preferences.

Fisch Floppy Guide
The Floppy is a legendary fish found lurking in the Ancient Isles, but more specifically, in the pond located towards the centre of the island. A fun fact is that it is a reference to the Flopper from Fortnite, so it may look familiar!
How To Catch Floppy
As I mentioned, you can find the Floppy swimming around in the Ancient Isles Pond, which is where the Merchant and the other NPCs reside. When hooked on your rod, there will be a -10% progress speed decrease, which makes catching it slightly trickier. However, you will get around 1200XP when you catch one!
They tend to weigh roughly 9.4kg on average, so you don’t have to worry about using a rod that can hold high weight. You’ll want to focus on a rod that gives you additional luck. A personal favourite is the Fungal Rod. Although it can only hold 200kg, it naturally has 45% luck, but also has a chance to give you an additional luck boost for 45 seconds.
Floppy Preferences
Floppy doesn’t have many preferences. Which if anything, makes catching one harder as there are no specific requirements you have to meet. That being said, it does have a preference for Super Flakes bait. It will also appear during Autumn, so make sure you’re fishing during that time.
