Insomniac Games’ take on Marvel’s Spider-Man is exclusive to PlayStation, but Xbox players can finally get their hands on a piece of content from the game. Sony and NetEase have announced that Marvel Rivals will soon receive the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Spider-Man 2, and it’ll be available on all platforms including Xbox.

PlayStation’s Spider-Man content typically skips Xbox, but not this time

The announcement shared by both PlayStation and Marvel Rivals official X accounts carried the hashtags SpiderMan2PC and SpiderMan2PS5, leading many to believe that the skin will skip Xbox platforms. After all, Marvel’s Avengers’ Spider-Man content was exclusive to PS5.

However, NetEase has clarified that although the skin celebrates the launch of Spider-Man 2 on PC, it’ll be available to all players including those on Xbox.

“Don’t mess with the Amazing Spider-Man!”

If you’re wondering what the “catch” is that we speak of, it’s that players will have to pay for the skin, it seems. According to the announcement, the item will be available in-store, but a price has not been revealed.

“The Advanced Suit 2.0 blends Otto Octavius’s science with Peter Parker’s genius,” NetEase wrote. “Crafted for the toughest battles, it symbolizes Spider-Man’s true grit as a hero.”

We’ll update our readers when we find out how much the suit costs.
