Fisch Dr Glimmerfin’s Boat Guide
Dr Glimmerfins is an NPC found in Moosewood standing near the leaderboards and Bait Craits. If you can’t spot him, follow these coordinates: X: 407 / Y: 134 / Z: 316. He’s easy to find, as he resembles the typical ‘Mad Scientist’ look.
Dr. Glimmerfin’s Quest
When speaking to this NPC, he will send you on a quest to find 4 Algae from 4 of the main islands: Moosewood, Forsaken Shores, Snowcap Isle, and Ancient Isle. When the Algae spawns, you will get a notification on your screen telling you which island it has spawned in.
The order in which you hand him the Algae doesn’t matter. Once you get the message telling you Algae has spawned, hurry to the location to fish it up!
Quest Rewards
Once you hand him the fourth Algae, you will be rewarded with Dr. Glimmerfin’s Boat. It resembles a large ship, with two decks and railing around the side. There are also tons of seas both inside and outside, which is perfect for traveling with friends.

The boat isn’t the only reward you’ll get after you finish the quest! When you hand him the first Algae, you get the ‘Glimmerfin’s Pupil’ title. The second reward is a Glimmer Bobber, and the third is the Firework Rod.
