The Storybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley offers several new crafting recipes that players can craft for various purposes including completing the quests. These new crafting recipes are crafted with the new crafting materials which are also introduced with the expansion. One of the new crafting materials is Mud. Players will have to get Mud for several expansion quests along with the friendship quests for the new characters and many other crafting recipes. How to Get Mud in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Mud is one of the new crafting materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley that is exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. There are two different ways players can get Mud. Dig it from the ground, or use a Shovel on the Broken Teacups.
To dig the Mud from the ground, players will have to unlock The Bind, the first biome of Storybook Vale. The Bind itself is a complete biome that players can unlock with 500 Story Magic. Players will reach the Bind during the A New Chapter quest for Merida.
For the second method, players have to use the Shovel on the Broken Teacups to get the Mud. The Broken Teacups are only in the Teapot Falls area, the second/third area of the Everafter biome. It requires 5,000 Story Magic to unlock the Teapot Falls area. Unlike digging for Mud, using the shovel on Broken Teacups will guarantee a drop of Mud.
If you need Mud early in the game, go around the Bind biome and dig the ground to get it. Moreover, if you choose to unlock the Everafter biome first, then progress to the Teapot Falls to start removing the Broken Teacups.
Use of Mud in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Mud is a crafting material exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will need it to craft various recipes. Moreover, players can also sell it for 10 Star Coins at Goofy’s Stall.
