Shrimp Game Dalgona
Like in Squid Game, the Dalgona challenge in the Shrimp Game is just as tense. I nearly jumped out of my chair the first time I played it. There are 4 possible shapes to get, and you get to choose! Well, you don’t get to select a specific shape, but you get to pick one of 4 blank Dalgonas that appear on the screen.
If you’re lucky, you’ll get the triangle. If you’re unlucky, you’ll get the umbrella. The 2 other possible shapes are the star (which is the first one I picked) and the circle.
PC players understandably have an advantage with this game, as a mouse is much easier to control than a touchscreen or controller.
How to Complete the Dalgona Challenge
The Dalgona challenge is fairly easy to complete, though patience is key. You need to be careful when moving the needle across the outline of the shape, as there’s a chance that you could break the Dalgona. Drawing outside of the outline will result in you failing the challenge.
My advice is to slowly draw the outline and stop every couple of seconds so as not to apply too much pressure to the candy. Try not to rush it. The most difficult part of this game is trying to not jump when someone around you gets shot. The noise is loud and if you jolt, moving the needle outside of the outline, it’s game over.
After completing the shape, you get to move on to the next round. Just keep an eye on the countdown, as even though you should take it slowly, you’re still limited on time.
