Dig It Enchantments – How to Enchant Your Shovel

Dig It Enchantments

Enchantments provide buffs to shovels, which in turn, improves their usability. I recommend only enchanting those that are good, and not just any old shovel. The enchantment a shovel receives is random, so you may have to enchant it a few times to get the one you want.

You should also look closely at the stats of your chosen shovel. Does it have a low Luck stat? Aim for the Lucky enchantment! The majority of the other enchants available help to improve the mini-game you play during each dig.

How to Enchant Your Shovel

First, you need to visit Mole Island. This location is close to Nookville, just ahead of the boat dock. You don’t need a boat to get it, as you can easily jump across the water. Once you’re on the small island, you can speak with the Helper Mole for more information.

When digging across the different locations, there’s a chance that you obtain a Mole. These Moles are used as a way to exchange for enchantments! Each time you want to enchant a shovel, you need to make your way to the Mole Island and interact with the large mole. By offering a Mole, the shovel you have chosen will receive an enchantment.

All Enchantments

Every enchantment has 3 tiers, with tier 1 being the ‘weakest’ buff, and tier 3 being the strongest variant.

Lucky
Buffs the Luck stat of your shovel, increasing your chances of collecting rarer items
Control
Buffs the Control stat of your shovel, making it easier to obtain items
Durable
Increases the Maximum Weight stat of your shovel, allowing you to obtain a wider range of items (and sometimes rarer items!)
Strong
Buffs the Strength stat of your shovel, which makes the digging mini-game easier
Precise
Buffs the Precision stat of your shovel, which determines the size of the bar during the mini-game
Stamina
Decreases the amount of Stamina Lost when using your shovel, which is reflective of the progress you lose during the mini-game
