2024 is coming to an end and it was a good year for the Palia including new content updates, improvements, new features, and many bug fixes. Despite the game having hours of content for players to uncover and countless crafting recipes to craft and decorate, there are still some improvements that are missing which can make the gameplay experience more pleasant. Here are the top 6 features that we need in Palia.

The following features/changes mentioned below are some of the most requested improvements from players and fans in Palia.
1. Livestock Farming
For over a year, players and fans have requested the Livestock or Animal Farming feature in Palia. As Palia does an amazing job of offering a relaxing and cozy gameplay experience, the ability to raise animals will motivate players to log in daily and take care of the animals at the farm. It is not like we do not have animals, you can find Ormuu, a cow-like animal at Daiya Farm.
The Animal Farming feature can include unique activities for each animal that players need to undertake for them to raise the animals accordingly. Raising different animals at the farm will allow players to get dairy products like Milk and Eggs which are used in several cooking recipes.
2. Hangout with Villagers
There are several villagers in the Palian World who will help you initially settle in Kilima Valley. Despite being several villagers in Palia, the interaction options feel lacking. You can only talk or gift items to the villagers which is pretty basic. An additional feature that the villagers can use is the option to hang out with them. While hanging out, villagers can participate in various activities alongside players like fishing, mining, hunting, etc. This feature will help a lot of players level up their friendship level with the villagers.
3. More Friendship Levels and Exclusive Rewards from Villagers
Another feature or change that is much needed in Palia is more Friendship Levels and exclusive rewards from villagers. Currently, the maximum number of Friendship Levels is 5. It must be at least 10, allowing players to interact with the villagers often and complete several friendship quests for each villager. Moreover, every time a player levels up the friendship level with a villager, they will receive an exclusive reward from the villager.
4. Ability to Recycle Furniture to Get Back Materials or Sell Furniture
Another feature that has been a hot topic for a while is the ability to recycle old furniture/décor items. Palia offers a ton of furniture items that are purely for decoration. Every time a player crafts a new appealing furniture item, they just store the previous item in the storage, which luckily does not take any space. However, that is not the solution for old furniture items because each item costs various valuable materials that can take hours. One of the simplest solutions is to add a Recycler that lets you put in Furniture Items and return full or even half amount of crafting materials. Alternatively, at least allow players to sell Furniture Items to Zeki or Tish to make some money.
5. Ability to Produce Flour from Wheat/Rice/Corn
Gardening and farming are some of the biggest aspects in Palia that let you get various crops and fruits. It is all good and appreciated among the communities. However, the fact that you can grow Wheat but cannot turn it into Flour sounds lackluster. The only way to get Flour is to purchase it from Zeki. This idea completely makes Wheat useless in Palia. If devs add a machine that can accept Wheat/Rice/Corn to make Flour, then it will be wonderful.
6. More Functionality for Communities
Lastly, one of the most important features is to add more functionality for communities. Communities greatly help in keeping the game alive and welcoming for new players. The devs should add special weekly community quests. This way multiple players can participate in these quests to complete whatever goal is required for the quest.
