Marvel Rivals is a new third-person 6v6 hero shooter that allows players to battle as their favorite heroes and villains from Marvel Multiverse. Similar to all the other hero shooters out there, Marvel Rivals also features various game modes. These game modes are accessible to play both in Quick Play and Competitive match types. However, before you can prove your skill in the competitive scene against other players, you must first become eligible to play in the competitive match type. In this guide, we will tell you how to play competitive and all ranks in Marvel Rivals.
How to Play Competitive in Marvel Rivals and All Ranks
Marvel Rivals offers competitive play for its players to prove their skills where the stakes are higher. To get yourself into the competitive play in Marvel Rivals, you will first have to level up your profile to Level 10. It is the main requirement for every player before they can start playing Ranked in Marvel Rivals. Leveling up your profile in Marvel Rivals will require you to earn XP by playing any game modes in the Quick Play. There are three game modes available in Quick Play: Convoy, Domination, and Convergence.
Simply start playing with your favorite hero/villain in the Quick Play and complete matches to earn XP. Achieving Victories in the matches you play will earn you more XP. Upon reaching Level 10, the Competitive Match Type will become available for you. If you are wondering why you have to reach Level 10 before you can get access to the Ranked, it is because the game calculates your MMR, which allows the game to match you up against the players within the range of your MMR. Make sure that you select your best character and class to play confidently to get a victory and climb the ranks.
All Ranks in Competitive Mode in Marvel Rivals
If you are familiar with the competitive mode from the other games then you must be familiar with the Ranks. Every game has its own ranks and divisions which determine the overall skill of a player. Well, it is the same in Marvel Rivals, and learning all ranks and their divisions will help you get an idea of how long you have to climb for the highest rank.
Bronze III, II, I
Silver III, II, I
Gold III, II, I
Platinum III, II, I
Diamond III, II, I: Each team gets to ban one Marvel Rivals character from the hero selection screen before the match starts.
Grandmaster III, II, I
Eternity: You will gradually lose rank points if you not compete for a while which can risk a demotion.
One Above All: You will gradually lose rank points if you not compete for a while which can risk a demotion.
The best way to climb up these ranks is to team up with your friends for the best coordination that will help you stay focused on the objective and watch each other backs. Marvel Rivals is a highly team-based game so, make sure to coordinate with your team in every aspect during the match.
