The Storybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley offers several new crafting recipes that players can craft for various purposes including completing the quests. These new crafting recipes are crafted with the new crafting materials which are also introduced with the expansion. One of the new crafting materials is Petrified Wood. How to Get Petrified Wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Petrified Wood is one of the new crafting materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley that is exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will have to travel to the Storybook Vale world to find the Petrified Wood beneath the trees in one of its biomes. There are three biomes of Storybook Vale and the Petrified Wood is available in The Bind and Everafter biomes.
The Bind is the first and Everafter is the second/third biome that players will get to explore as they progress through the main story of expansion. Players will reach The Bind during the A New Chapter quest for Merida. During The Wolf of the Wilds quest for Merida, players will be able to unlock the Inky Wall for 500 Story Magic. It will allow players to access The Wild Woods, the first area within the Everafter biome.
Once at any one of the two biomes, break the rock nodes in The Bind or the mining nodes in the Everafter to get Petrified Wood. You can mine in any four areas within the Everafter. The spawn rate of Petrified Woods from mining in all the areas looks to be the same. So, it does not matter in which area you start mining for the Petrified Woods.
Use of Petrified Wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Petrified Wood is a crafting material exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will need it to craft various recipes. Moreover, players can also sell it for 20 Star Coins at Goofy’s Stall.
