Fisch Pickaxe – Location and Uses

Use the pickaxe to break the ice in Fisch on Roblox! Another item you need to take note of is the Fisch Oxygen Tank, which helps you climb up the Northern Summit mountain to access all fishing areas.

Fisch Pickaxe

The pickaxe has 2 uses. The first is to enter a new location which is blocked off, and the second is to access one of the Energy Crystals required to unlock the Heaven’s Rod.

How to Get the Pickaxe

The Pickaxe rests on top of a wooden box by the campsite at the Overgrowth Caves. It costs 5K coins, making it a cheap purchase, and a required one at that. This campsite is the second one you come across when exploring the Northern Summit.

I recommend purchasing the Basic Oxygen Tank from the first campsite nearby the Merchant NPC before you try to get to the Overgrowth Caves unless you’re confident enough to get there without the extra help.

Overgrowth Caves

To get to this location, you need to head left from the spawn points. This takes you across the ice platforms with ladders. Head up the ladders and the rock to find a ladder that bridges a gap. Follow the pathway and keep heading up any ladders you come across.

You’ll eventually reach the Overgrowth Caves! But as stated below, you can’t enter the cave itself until you’ve purchased the pickaxe and broken the wall of ice.

The 2 uses (so far) of the pickaxe.

Overgrowth Caves

When you eventually reach the Overgrowth Caves, and the campsite in particular, you’ll spot a pathway that is blocked ahead. This wall of ice needs to be broken for you to explore further.

To do this, you must acquire the pickaxe first. Then, you can break down this ice wall to access the next area. The path leads you to the actual cave and also the Frigid Caverns.

Blue Energy Crystal

Once you can get into the Overgrowth Caves, you can find a block of ice that contains the Blue Energy Crystal. At this point, you’ll already have the pickaxe, so all you need to do is break the structure. Hit it a few times until you destroy it, then you can pick up the crystal!
