The Promethean Flame Quest Walkthrough – Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Promethean Flame is a main story quest for Hades exclusive to the Strorybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Players will be able to pursue this quest as they enter the Mythical Trial in The Fiery Plains area. This guide will walk you through the Promethean Flame quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete The Promethean Flame Quest – Walkthrough

Starting the Quest

To initiate The Promethean Flame quest, you will first have to complete A Moth to a Flame quest. Completing the A Moth to A Flame quest will let players access the Mythical Trial in the Fiery Plains area. Once that is done, they can enter the Mythical Trial and speak with Hades to start the Promethean Flame quest.

Move Every Flaming Torch to the Correct Place

After speaking to Hades in the Mythical Trial, you need to move three Flaming Torches to the correct places. These Flaming Torches are giant movable braziers. Below you can find the method of each Flaming Torch.

1st Flaming Torch

The first flaming torch is just left of Hades. Simply push it forward by interacting with it and it will light up.

2nd Flaming Torch

Go to the right side and go down a little staircase to find a switch. Interact with it to lower a bridge. Cross the bridge and go to the other side. Turn left from here and continue ahead to find another switch behind a couple of rock nodes. Break the nodes and interact with the switch to lower another bridge.

Here, you will find the second Flaming Torch, but before you can move it, you need to lower the little platforms on which the brazier can be pushed. Initially, they will be lifted up. To lower the platforms, look to the right side of the second brazier to find a switch. Interact with the switch to lower the bridge and cross to the other side.

Once on the other side, equip the Watering Can and use it on the wheel on the floor to lower the platforms. Now, go back and interact with the brazier to push it to the next platform. Repeat the pushing process until the Flaming Torch reaches the end of the path and lights up.

3rd Flaming Torch

For the third Flaming Torch, cross to the other side and go to the right side to find a couple of closed doors. The third Flaming Torch will be behind the doors. To unlock the doors, go up the staircase and use the Royal Nest on the lever to rotate it. Go back down and remove the rocks to reach the back of the brazier.

Interact with it to push the brazier to the next platforms. Now, the other platforms will be lifted up. Go to the next platform and equip the Watering Can to use it on the wheel behind the platform. It will lower all the next platforms. Once done, go back and start pushing the brazier until it reaches the correct position and lights up.

Interact with the Magical Corruption at the Heart of the Trial

After placing all the Flaming Torches in the correct positions, go back to Hades. Go through the dialogues and then go to the center of the trial to interact with the corruption. It will initiate a brief cutscene and the quest will conclude.

Rewards

Completing The Promethean Flame quest will reward players with 600 Friendship Points.
