How to Catch Jolly Christmas Fish

Like any other fish, catching Mutations all comes down to RNG. You may get lucky and randomly reel in a Jolly fish with no additional help from bait or a specific rod. However, there is a rod that’s well and truly made for this conundrum!

The only rod that increases the likelihood of a Jolly fish appearing is the Antler Rod. Due to its passive ability, when using this rod, you have a 25% higher chance of catching a fish with the Jolly mutation.

To get this rod, you need to open the Advent Calendar by speaking with the Christmas NPC on Moosewood Island every day. The Antler Rod is available on Day 5, which looks to be the 11th of December. Can’t log in on that day? You can purchase it with Robux instead.

So, you’re probably wondering if any of the new bait increases your chances of getting a Jolly fish. Well, as far as we know, they don’t seem to have any proper use as of yet.
