Fisch Antler Rod – Catch Jolly Fish Easily!

The Antler Rod is one of the newest fishing rods to be added with the Christmas update… well, the first part of it!

How to Get the Antler Rod

It’s easy! All you need to do is log in on the correct day to obtain it. Open the Advent Calendar on Day 5 of the event to receive the Antler Rod as a daily reward. At the time of writing this, the current reward is for Day 3, so the Antler Rod will be available on the 11th of December.

Or, you can skip ahead 5 days or purchase the whole Advent Calendar with Robux. However, I recommend saving your Robux, as you obtain all of these rewards eventually throughout the event. Patience is key!

If you don’t log in on the right day, you have to pay for the reward with Robux if you still want it. Remember to load up the game every day so you don’t miss out on any rewards, and head to Moosewood Island to find the Advent Calendar.

Is the Antler Rod Any Good?

It’s called the Antler Rod due to its reindeer horn decorations near the handle, but is it just a novelty? Its base stats are pretty average, having a 45% Luck boost and a 25% Lure Speed. These numbers are nothing special, but it’s the passive ability that gives the rod some use.

When using the Antler Rod you have a 25% higher chance of catching fish with the Jolly mutation. This mutation is only available during the Christmas event, though like the Haunted Rod from Halloween 2024, you can still catch Jolly fish outside of the event period if you’re using the Antler Rod!

Not only do Jolly fish look fabulously festive, but they also sell for a lot of coins. Every fish with the Jolly mutation sells for 3x the normal value, which is a whopping 200% boost.
